On August 25, DJI released a new generation of drones,
the DJI Avata. At the same time, DJI also released consumer-grade FPV flying
glasses Goggles 2 with Micro OLED screen. The Goggles 2 released by DJI adopts
the Micro OLED micro-display developed and produced by SeeYA Technology. Micro
OLED and DJI Avata have reached a perfect collaboration, perfectly presenting
the cool images captured by Avata in high-speed flight and rotating state to
users, allowing users to experience the feeling of real flying through Goggles
2.
Compared with the previous generation FPV of DJI, the Goggles 2 with Micro OLED screen has obvious improvement in vision and experience. In terms of weight, it has been reduced from 420g of the previous generation FPV to 290g now. The application of the Micro OLED screen makes Goggles 2 significantly optimized in terms of volume and weight. In addition, in terms of picture quality, color, brightness and contrast ratio, Micro OLED also demonstrated better display performance than LCD. Besides the experience of flying with Avata, DJI also provides a wireless screen projection function so that Goggles 2 can also be used alone as a viewing device.
The Goggles 2 uses a 0.49" Micro OLED micro display screen with the resolution of 1920x1080 developed and produced by SeeYA Technology. In addition, SeeYA Technology also provides 0.32" 800x600, 0.72" 1920x1200 and 1.03" 2560x2560 Micro OLED display screen with different resolutions. In recent years, SeeYA Technology has been focusing on the research and development and production of Micro OLED micro-displays. Since the launch of 0.49" and 1.03" products in 2019, 0.32" and 0.72" Micro OLED displays will be launched in the near future.
